Privacy Policy — Mirror Experience

Last updated: 13.11.25

Mirror Experience – AR EXPERIENCE SRL (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting user privacy.
Our goal is simple: collect ZERO personal data.
This Privacy Policy explains what limited information is processed when you use [Your App Name], an AR Mirror and AR Photobooth application for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.

1. Data We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any of the following:

  • Personal identity data (name, address, phone number)

  • Biometric or facial data

  • Location data

  • Usage analytics

  • Device identifiers

  • Tracking information of any kind

All AR effects run locally and in real time, and no user data is stored while the AR experience is being displayed.

2. Camera Access

The app requires camera access to display AR effects and photobooth features.
Camera input is processed in real time only and is never stored or transmitted unless the user explicitly takes a photo.

3. Photos Taken With the Photobooth

Photos are only created when the user initiates a photobooth capture.
These photos are processed in one of two modes, depending on the client setup.

3.1 Online QR Mode

  • When a photo is taken, it is uploaded to a secure server (EU or US, depending on client configuration).

  • The user receives a temporary URL via QR code to access their photo.

  • Photos are automatically deleted after 10 minutes.

  • No metadata, tracking, or analytics are stored.

  • If the optional email-capture feature is enabled, the user must enter an email to access their photo. Email collection is fully handled by the client (see Section 4).

3.2 Offline QR Mode

  • Works completely without an internet connection.

  • The photo is saved only locally on the device (iPhone, iPad, or Mac).

  • The user can download the image via a temporary local URL accessed through QR code.

  • Images are automatically deleted after 10 minutes.

  • Nothing is uploaded or transmitted externally.

4. Optional Email Collection (Client Feature)

The app includes an optional email-capture step in Online QR mode.

  • This feature is disabled by default.

  • When enabled by the client, users must enter their email to retrieve their photo.

  • Emails are collected and managed solely by the client, not by Mirror Experience – AR EXPERIENCE SRL.

  • Unless explicitly defined in a separate B2B contract, we do not store or process these emails.

  • Email exports are delivered to the client at predefined intervals for their own marketing or CRM use.

Clients enabling this feature are responsible for complying with GDPR, CCPA, and relevant privacy regulations.

5. Data Retention

  • Temporary photos (online or offline) are deleted after 10 minutes.

  • No personal data is stored long-term.

  • No logs, backups, or archives of user photos are kept.

6. Third-Party Services

We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising trackers, or behavioral tracking.
A temporary file hosting service may be used solely to store photos for up to 10 minutes in Online QR mode.

7. Security

All temporary data transmissions use encrypted HTTPS connections.
Because we do not store personal data, our exposure to long-term risk is minimal.
Periodic audits ensure the temporary photo storage system respects the automatic deletion window.

8. Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect or store personal data from children.
The App is designed to operate without requiring any identifiable information.
